About BearPaw: Tom Romeo founded the BEARPAW brand in 2001 with the intention of redefining casual footwear by utilizing sheepskin, nature’s own technical fabric, to create comfortable and stylish shoes. Sheepskin naturally regulates body temperature so feet stay cooler and drier in the heat and warmer in the cold. In one of the most competitive footwear market segments, BEARPAW has carved out a niche area by providing customers with comfort and sensibility to set itself apart. From slippers to boots to casual footwear, only the finest materials are used to produce BEARPAW shoes. Built to deliver quality and style, every pair of BEARPAW shoes focuses on comfort and fit, using the highest standards of craftsmanship.
I have been looking for the perfect pair of boots. I have a pair but they just are not really that comfortable. Living in the south, it is hard to find a nice pair of boots that will keep your feet warm in the colder weather, but you can also wear in the cooler weather without feeling like your feet are sweating off. I was very excited when the Glimmer boots in Charcoal showed up at my door. These are classic wedge booties but are made with a wool lining. This makes the insides of these boots very warm and comfortable. I was worried that with the South Carolina weather that these shoes would make my feet sweat really bad. I was very surprised that even in the upper 60’s I was still able to wear these boots and my feet were still comfortable. The other pair of boots I have are slip on type but they are very hard to pull on because they go almost up to my knees, and lets face it, unless you are a size 0 it is very hard to get them to go on good. With these they have a zipper on the side to make it easy for on and off. These shoes have a nice little heel on them, which I love because I am only 5 feet tall. They are also very easy to walk in. I give these boots 5 stars.
My recommendation: If you are looking for the perfect gift for her I highly suggest these boots. They would look great dressed up with a skirt or leggings, or my favorite, dressed down with a pair of jeans for running errands. They are a little pricey but I am planning on buying another pair because they are very well made.
