Based out of Irvine, California, BiggiFi started up in 2011. They created an HDMI stick, but it isn’t like any other one on the market. The difference in this HDMI stick, the BiggiFi, is that it uses your smarphone system as a touch screen controller. It can be used with Android or IOS systems. With millions of apps and games to choose from in the GoogleTM you will be able to bring plenty of fun to your big screen.
Sweet Southern Lovin had the opportunity to work with BiggiFi to review the BiggiFi HDMI Stick. It is an HDMI stick that runs off of an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. It can output up to 1080P. It has an internal storage of 4GB. It also comes with a micro SD slot so you can up your GB. It has to the back of it a USB port. It also has at the top side of the BiggiFi the plug in area for you power source. You do have to have a WIFI connection for the BiggiFi to work. The dimensions of the BiggiFi HDMI stick 3.25″ X 0.9″ X 0.4″. Included in your BiggiFi package is your BiggiFi HDMI stick, one 3 foot AC adapter, one mircro USB cable and one 10″ HDMI extension cable.
I was really excited to be able to review the BiggiFi. I have never tried any other HDMI stick before because I heard they could be aggravating to control/navigate. The set up was so easy. Seriously super easy. You literally plug it in, download the app and it helps you connect from there. Using the smartphone as your controller can be a little tricky at first, but you eventually get the hang of it. I know if my 6 year olds and 2 year old can learn it anyone can. The games come up nice and crisp on the TV. The game we have played the most with the BiggiFi is Cookie Run, and we can play it very well using the smartphone as our controller. It gets on the browser very well. I no issues with lagging while using apps or the browser. I did have some lag time with just being in the home screen area and the file area, but that might have been because my battery was getting low on my phone. This thing is fun for the whole family, and get this you can have up to four players at a time for multi-player games. How cool is that? My kids love that feature! It is always nice being able to let them play together so there is no fighting. This thing is awesome. I wouldn’t recommend any other HDMI stick. BiggiFi is the one to go with. You can get yours for around the cost of $89.
