My kids love to color and I love that this simple activity keeps them entertained while providing lifelong benefits. Coloring can help develop motor skills, stimulate creativity, improve handwriting, and so much more. I know the kids get tired of the same old coloring books, so I was delighted when ColorTime Crafts and Markers sent us a backpack to review.
Since its inception in the early 1990s, ColorTime Crafts & Markers has been helped over 4 million children and adults express their creativity. The company offers a large selection products including t-shirts, backpacks, tote bags, and pillowcases. With each item, there are several design options to suit your needs. They even offer a religious and holiday category. ColorTime also carries the markers you need to personalize your new product. The fabric markers are permanent, non-toxic, and quick-drying. They are available in primary, pastel, and fluorescent colors. You can do more than just shop on the ColorTime Crafts & Markers website. You will also find coloring tips and printable coloring pages. You can even sign your little one up for the “Birthday Club” to receive a special discount once a year.
I received the Ninja Warrior Backpack and three markers. This backpack is made with 100% natural cotton and it is completely machine washable. It has a drawstring and an overall size of 14 1/2″ x 16 1/2″. The instructions suggest placing a paper towel or plastic bag inside to prevent bleed through. We used a plastic shopping bag. My boys started coloring the backpack and I joined when they were about halfway done.
The outline of the design is thick, which made it easier for the boys to stay in between the lines. All of the colors were surprisingly vibrant and they dried very quickly. I machined washed the bag a few days after the boys finished it and the colors did not fade or bleed. My youngest loves this bag and carries his favorite toys in it. Most likely he will want to use it once school starts as well. It would definitely make a great activity for birthday parties, class parties, and other events as it allows children to get creative.
