Strawberry, Lemon and Grapefruit Detox Water
I spent this last week dealing with a sickness and yuck!! Who want’s to go through that? Thanks to my daughter, I caught an Upper Respiratory Infection and have felt like my lungs would be coughed up at any moment. While getting my grocery list ready last week I knew just what I needed to add to my list. This is one of my favorite detox drinks because it is very delicious and just makes me feel better after drinking. It is easy to make and taste perfect.
1 Bottle of Distilled Water
Cut and dice all of your fruit. I like to put 3 slices of the grapefruit and 3 slices of lemon in my water, but it really all depends on what you like. I add a lot of strawberries to mine because I love strawberries. Next, you will want to add your water and mix. Finally, enjoy your detox water.
What are the benefits to the key ingredients in my detox water? Well, I am glad you asked. Here is a little breakdown:
Grapefruit: Grapefruit is known for its weight loss components. It also tastes delicious.
Lemon: This is a great way to give your body what it needs. Your body will appreciate the extra Vitamin C, Antioxidants, and Potassium from the slices of lemon in this detox. That was a reason I added them because I had recently caught the crud and was just feeling horrible.
Strawberry: The strawberry not only helps cleanse your body but did you know it will also help burn fat? Plus it helps to sweeten the water and round out the taste of this detox water.
