DripDrop – A yummy way to rehydrate #Review #spon #DrinkDripDrop

I received a complimentary product from SheSpeaks/DripDrop. However all opinions are 100% my own.

DripDrop is the first hydration solution that is available for everyone. Not only does it do its job, but it also tastes great. After watching many people, especially children, die from unnecessary dehydration, Mayo Medical School student, Dr. Eduardo Dolhun witnessed just how effective Oral Rehydration Solutions are and his mind started working. There are many different ORS on the market, but in 2007 Dr. Dolhun wanted to start prescribing great tasting formula that was efficient to his patients. By 2010 he had perfected his formula, DripDrop, which combined medical grade hydration with a great taste.

I was very excited to get to review this product because not only is it good for adults, but it is also good for kids. I haven’t really talked a lot about this on the blog, but I suffer from CVS – Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. There is no real cause to what causes my episodes. Usually my episodes only last for a day or so and they start out with a headache and then it all starts. It takes all I have to function enough to take care of my kids, let alone try to remember to stay hydrated. When these episodes come, I get so dehydrated the only solution to rehydrate is going to the emergency room and get an IV with saline solution. With two kids and then having to sit in the ER for 3-4 hours just doesn’t cut it. There is no cure for what I have, except trying to learn what my “stresser” is and how to prevent it. I had an episode the other day, and luckily it was the day after I received my DripDrop. It started with a headache, but I had been very stressed and I wouldn’t let my mind rest, so I am sure that caused this episode. Anyway, the episode only lasted around 8 hours but I felt horrible because I was very dehydrated and was waiting on my husband to come home to head to the ER for my IV.

I gave DripDrop a try and I couldn’t believe how quick it worked. I mean within 30 minutes I felt better and it was like a difference between night and day. I have tried other ORS and even I could stomach the taste it took too long to work, and I don’t have that type of time with two kids with need me. DripDrop comes in a box with 8 packets. They are available in Lemon Flavor and Berry Flavor. We received the Lemon Flavor and it taste just like lemonade. My picky 5-year-old tried it and she gulped it down. What I love is that this is formulated for everyone, no matter what stage of life they are in. You could even drink it daily just for that extra boost. During the day, with school then sports or after school activities, kids do not consume all the water they should. DripDrop is perfect for them to rehydrate. Aubreigh loves to drink her “lemonade” after school. She says it makes her feel brand new.
