I do not know about you but for me it is so hard to get my oldest to eat something for breakfast every morning before going to school. If she does eat something it is loaded with sugar. Most of the breakfast options available that kids would be interested in do not exactly taste the greatest. El Monterey is a brand we all know and trust to bring us very flavorful burritos and fun mexican style meals for lunch and dinner. They have recently brought to the market a line of Signature breakfast burritos.

I honestly couldn’t wait to try these. I love Mexican food and my picky eater also loves Mexican food. In the mornings I can NEVER get her to even touch some scrambled eggs and I worry a little sending her to school after eating something sweet, that she will not be able to concentrate like she should. At my local Walmart, they had two flavors available, both of the ones containing sausage. I got the 12 count and it was only $10.97. This morning came the test, I thought to myself, lets see how well this goes and if I can get Aubreigh to eat something other than a poptart. Upon opening the package I was really excited to see that each package was individually wrapped. This is an awesome way to prevent freezer burn. I could see these being the perfect thing to bring when we go on vacation this year. It does not take long for them to heat up so it is perfect for those mornings when you are feeling rushed. They can even be taken and ate on the way to school. Aubreigh was really impressed that she was having Mexican for breakfast this morning. This was the first morning I ever got her to eat eggs and sausage. The filling just oozes out of the burrito and it is very cheesy. Aubreigh made it look so good I had to try one. They are very delicious and have a slight spice to them, but they are perfect.
