Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Treats

Now that it is school time, I love to surprise my children with special little treats throughout the week. It can be maybe just a little card telling them how proud of them I am, a baked dessert, or even a small little toy. Anything to show them  I am proud of them and they are doing great in school I will do for them. This week I wanted to do something a little different for them, and decided to get something fun we could make together and they could enjoy for the entire week. We decided to make Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Treats.

Fruity Pebbles Marshmallow Treats

When I was little, I always remembered my grandma buying my Fruity Pebbles and they were the most delicious cereal I had ever tasted. When I was debating over recipes, I figured I could make them the regular marshmallow treats, but Fruity Pebbles would taste more, well, fruity. I found a money saving coupon and headed over to my local grocery store and picked up a box, some marshmallows, and some butter and was ready to get started. When the kids got home, they were so excited to try making their own treat and they thought it was so cool. What is so great about making these treats, is that you can mold them into any shape that you want! We did not have any cookie cutters on hand, but cute hearts or even gingerbread men would be the most cutest treat ever seen! Check out our fun recipe below!
