FulcrumGallery.com Pretty Girl Framed Print Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

FulcrumGallery.com was first started as an online art gallery. It was started on October 10, 2002. When they first started, they only featured view-only artwork from various famous artist. In September of 2003 they decided to take the plunch and turn FulcrumGallery.com into an online store. Over time they have went from having a few thousand prints for sale, to having over 200,000 art prints for sale as well as a framing the art to their customers liking.
Sweet Southern Lovin had the opportunity to work with FulcrumGallery.com. My step daughters birthday was coming up, so I knew exactly what type of picture I was going to get. I got to pick from all of the prints in the animal category. They offer many pieces of artwork, but what caught my eyes was the horse artwork. My step daughter loves animals and has two horses of her own. As soon as I saw Pretty Girl, I knew that was the one. She has a horse that looks just like the one featured in the painting. I was able to select a framing and mat option as well. I picked not to get a mat, but I did get a Dark Bronze Box Frame which looks gorgeous with the picture. I also picked to have Standard Acrylic Plexiglass instead of regular glass. She has 3 younger sisters at home with her, and I figured Plexiglass would be the safest. Check out my Pro’s of buying from FulcrumGallery.com and my one Con.

The picture is very bright and vibrant.
The frame is perfect and well made.
It is not to big, but not to small either.
Shipping is fast.

The only problem I had was how they did the backing. It is like a brown paper, and there is a wire going across. They sent the nails needed to put it on the wall. The picture itself, with the frame, is heavy. The paper is very flimsy. I am a little worried about how well it will hang up.

I just won a giveaway for a canvas from Fulcrum and am excitedly waiting on its arrival. I got the stretched canvas without a frame, so I expect the way I need to hang it will be different than the framed canvas. It looks like the back of the framed canvas is much like the back of other, high-quality framed art. I’m sure you’ll get it hung perfectly and enjoy the piece for a long time.
