Many thanks to Poise for sponsoring today’s story and encouraging me to try Poise, not period pads, for LBL!
About Poise: Take on life’s changes with our expert advice, lively community and Light Bladder Leakage (LBL) products designed to help you stay confident.
If you have had more than one child, then you are probably well aware of LBL (Light Bladder Leakage). No matter how many of those little kegal exersices that you do your bladder will never be the same after multiple kids. I for one hate to sneeze or even cough out in public because I will always leak, no matter what. I have had to start wearing regular, rough and bulky pads no matter where I go so I don’t have to be embarrassed when I am in public. I was so happy when I found out about the new Poise Thin-Shape Pads. For a limited time, you can also request a FREE sample of Pose Pads!!
These pads have so many wonderful things about them. They are available in three different absorbencies; moderate. maximum and ultimate. Now only are these pads perfect for LBL, but they are also very good for your monthly visit from Aunt Flo. I went ahead and picked up the Ultimate Absorbency because of how heavy my monthly visits are. Check out a little about the new pads that are 3x drier than the brand Always: Poise® Moderate Absorbency Thin-Shape Pads give you the security you need and comfort you want. They’re up to 40% thinner† than original Poise Pads and feature a thin-flex® design that moves seamlessly with your body. Thanks to Super Absorbent Material (SAM), they’re also 3X drier than Always period pads**, giving you the comfort and protection you deserve.
I wanted to make a fun craft out of pads and these Poise Pads are the perfect way. We are heading to the beach in a few weeks and I was thinking of a fun craft to use these with. I made a little wallet type thing that is the perfect place to store your phone, keys, money, etc. when you are at the beach, pool or even the lake. These pads are designed to keep you dry while holding in a lot of liquid, so I knew it would be the perfect thing to keep my phone safe while we were at the beach. Also, who would pick up pads 😉
For this craft I used 4 pads. I kept the pouch they came in and used that as the backing. Then I took the pads and placed them sticky side down and folded it up to resemble a wallet. I then took a pad and cut it in half to secure the sides together. From there you can add a piece of velcro to keep it closed, or you can do like I did and just tucked it in. I can’t wait to use it when we go to the beach.
