How many of y’all have a subscription to Netflix? I do and we use it daily. I was sitting here thinking about how great of a gift Netflix would make. Netflix is the world’s leading Internet Television Network. When you sign up as a member, you get to watch TV anytime and anywhere you want, as long as you are connected to the internet. What I love about Netflix is there are no commercials and you do not have to sign up for a 12 month commitment or anything like that.

For this holiday season, why not give a loved one a gift that keeps on giving? Netflix is offering something new this holiday season. They are offering gift cards in the increments of $30 and $60. The recipient of the gift card will be able to select which subscription plan they would like. The plans are as follows:

If you just want to stream unlimited shows and movies:

1 SD Screen – $7.99 a month

2 HD Screens – $8.99 a month – up to 2 screens streaming simultaneously. This is the plan I have and it is awesome.

4 HD Screens – $11.99 a month – up to 4 screens streaming simutaneously. This is perfect for families.

If you would like to rent out DVD’s:

1 DVD at a time: $7.99 a month

2 DVDs at a time – $11.99 a month

3 DVDs at a time – $15.99 a month

4 DVDs at a time – $21.99 a month

5 DVDs at a time – $27.99 a month

6 DVDs at a time – $32.99 a month

7 DVDs at a time – $37.99 a month

8 DVDs at a time $43.99 a month

if you would like to rent Blu-Ray DVDs:

1 Blu-Ray at a time – $9.99 a month

2 Blu-Ray at a time – $14.98 a month

3 Blu-Ray at a time – $19.19 a month

4 Blu-Ray at a time – $26.99

When you give the gift of Netflix, your recipient will be able to watch it on any Laptop. If they have a Google ChromeCast, Roku, or any other streaming device they can also watch on that. I watch on my tablet, laptop and through my TiVo box.

It is very easy for new users to redeem their Netflix Gift Card. What I love is that they do not need to enter a credit card number to sign up. New users will be asked to create a new account and can pick whichever streaming plan that they would like. Once the gift card runs out, the account will automatically close, unless the want to keep it and then they would need to add a credit card. Existing users simply apply their gift card to their account and their credit card will not be charged again until the gift card runs out.

Netflix can be set up for different users as well. Say you want to set it up for the family. Each parent can have their own “account” which shows their last viewed shows, recommendations based on what they like, and more. If you want to add a child, Netflix offers what I consider a parent lock. Simply check that it is a child’s account and they will only show recommendations and movies that are suitable for children. I love this feature.

For less than the cost of a Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy Movie, you can give your loved one a 3 month subscription to unlimited streaming at Netflix for only $30. You can pick up a Netflix Gift Card at the following stores: Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Gamestop, Kroger, 7-Eleven, Safeway, Speedway, Albertsons, Lowes, Staples, Price Chopper, Food Lion, Ahold, WinnDixie, Meijer, Giant, Eagle, Supervalu SVU, Staples and Dollar General.

Give your loved one a gift this holiday season they will love and use, a Netflix subscription.  Check out Netflix on Facebook and Twitter.
