Global Girls help bring your daughters a world of fun, inspiring, and stylish girls. Momtrepreneur, Kimberly Briner Conrad, spent more than a decade working as a publisher in various magazines. After much though, and consideration from her 4 kids all under 10, she wanted to work on something closer to her heart, Toys. She wanted to create a toy that would broaden their world-view with educational toys that are also fun.
Global Girls are these really neat dolls that are from all around the world. They also have their own books that teach you about their culture and where they live. I was so excited when I got the opportunity to work with Global Girl Dolls. Not only do I love their mission, but I also love how they bring fun and education together in the form of dolls. For our review, we received Tatiana. Tatiana is from Russia. One of the things I love about Global Girls, is that each doll is dressed in something from their country, like something you would see everyone wearing.
The dolls are 21 inches tall and their body is made pretty much out of a synthetic form. With this combined with their special interior framework allows the dolls to stand up on their own. Something else that I loved was that the dolls come with pierced ears, like really pierced. Tatiana comes with green earrings which match her wavy blond hair and green eyes perfectly.
Tatiana is dressed in a really pretty white coat with a matching hat and handbag. Underneath her coat she has on black leggings and a black top. The detailing in the clothes is very intricate and I was very impressed with every little detail that is put into these dolls. The dolls all also come with an underwear set. Aubreigh is excited to be able to dress her up in different clothes.
Tatiana came with a book that the girls absolutely loved to read. From the book, we found out that Tatiana is one of the top junior figure skaters. Aubreigh loved reading this book because it is more than just a book. It teaches a lot about Russia and about the culture. I was very impressed with how the book was set up. It was a lot of fun to read and Aubreigh knows that Moscow is in Russia, thanks to the fun and educational book.
At Global Girls, you can find many different dolls from all around the world. There is Vivienne from France, Mei Ling from China, Marcela from Argentina, Tiffany from the United States, Amahle from South Africa and of course Tatiana.
Price: $89.99 per doll // $9.95 per book
Recommendation: I think any girl would love to wake up on Christmas morning to a Global Girl under the tree. These dolls are very durable and can stand on their own. They also teach kids about different cultures without knowing they are learning. The dolls are also a really great price.
