School is about to start back, so that means this mommy is going to be going non stop Monday through Friday. Once I drop my daughter off at school it is time to head back home and get breakfast going for my younger daughter and then time to practice her school work to get her prepared for Kindergarten. All of this before 10AM!! Then it will be time to start cleaning the house, get dinner in the crock pot, fix some lunch for my youngest daughter and then wouldn’t you know it, it is time to go pick my oldest up from school. It is hard to keep up and I could use all of the extra energy I could get to help me get through the day. Recently, I visited my local Kroger and found the perfect snack to give me the perfect energy boost.
So what was the wonderful snack you may ask? It is called Plenti Yogurt. So what exactly is this Plenti Yogurt? Well it is a high-protien yogurt that will leave you feeling full and gives you an energy boost when you need it most. I love to add granola into my yogurt, but let’s face it, being a busy mom I rarely get the time to add granola into my yogurt and enjoy it before it starts getting all mushy. Well Plenti Yogurt is packed full of goodness, including whole grain oats, flax and pumpkin seeds and delicious fruit mixed in with Yoplait Greek Yogurt. Yum!! How delicious is that. Best of all it is gluten free and has a 1:1 protein to sugar ratio. I first tried the strawberry and oh, it was so delicious. It had bits of cranberries, whole grain oats, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds. Within 10 minutes from start to finish I had a delicious snack that gave me the perfect energy boost. This is going to be the best breakfast to eat in the mornings while my daughter is eating her breakfast and getting ready for school.
