About Lalaloopsy: Lalaloopsy were once rag dolls that magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn. Each doll has its own charming personality inspired by the fabric used to make it. Lalaloopsy live in a whimsical world full of silly surprises. With love and a little bit of imagination, you’ll see why Lalaloopsy are sew magical… and sew cute!
Sweet Southern Lovin had the awesome opportunity to work with Lalaloopsy for our Holiday Gift Guide. We were sent 3 different products for Lalaloopsy, and in this review I am going to talk about the newest set of Lalaloopsies, the Lalaloopsy Girls. They are all grown up and having fun in school. The best friends are all now roommates in school at Lalaloopsy Academy for the Learning Arts. For our review we received Spot Splatter Splash, which I thought was perfect because she was sewn from painter’s overalls and Aubreigh just loves anything to do with painting. Spot Splatter Splash has long blonde hair that is made out of a lanyard type of material and is in two braids. She also has a huge red bow in her hair, which Kaylee loved a lot. Her outfit reminds me of something a painter would wear with cute overalls and white I would consider little pain spots on her shirt. She also comes with her pet, which is an adorable red and white striped zebra. I was really surprised when Kaylee liked this doll more than Aubreigh. She is about the size of a Barbie. Her hair can be undone and can be styled however your child will like. She also has her adorable little zebra which, I think, Kaylee would play with that alone for hours.
My Recommendation: I would recommend this doll for kids around the age of 4. I would not recommend for any younger because there are small parts. Also, I do not know how older kids would like her. Aubreigh was interested in her, but after a few hours of play she didn’t pick her up again, but Kaylee still plays with her daily.
Purchase: $12.15 from Walmart
