LeapFrog Word Whammer Review

I am so happy to announce that we are a LeapFrog Mom Ambassador. This means that I get to share all of the newest and greatest products from LeapFrog with my readers. We received an awesome welcome kit which included the Word Whammer and a LeapPad Platinum with ImagiCards. I was very excited to receive the Word Whammer. While it is a simpler toy it is perfect for my 6-year-old who is in the 1st grade. They are starting to build words on their own and that is exactly what the Word Whammer does, but in a totally fun way. When you start playing the Word Whammer you will get to pick between 3 fun games with 3 fun characters. This game actually reminds me of that game that goes “bop it, twist it, now pull it” because that is pretty much what you do with the Word Whammer. You pull and twist to get the letters or whatever you are being told to do. It is perfect for little hands and big hands alike.

Word Whammer

The Word Whammer is a perfect tool to also use for homeschooling. My youngest is being homeschooled because she was put on the waiting list for preschool. We have implemented the Word Whammer into our schooling every day. She loves building new words and loves the fun characters she gets to play with.

Our final thought: Both of my daughters absolutely loved playing with this toy. I loved it just as much because they were learning as they played. It has helped my oldest with her word building in school and my youngest learn how to spell simple words.

Purchase: This is less than $20 so it makes the perfect gift for anyone. Get yours here.
