Peaches and Cream Bars

Living 5 minutes from the border of Georgia, which is also known as the peach state, there is always an abundance of peaches to be found everywhere I look. I decided to turn all of those peaches into a delicious Peaches & Cream Bars recipe. If you want a taste of the south, as well as a warm and filling dessert then you have to make this!

1 box White Cake Mix
1 cup softened Butter
2 Eggs
21 oz can Peach Pie Filling
8 oz Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 9×9″ pan and set aside.
Mix together cake mix, 1 egg and butter until it forms a uniform crumbly mixture.
Set aside 1 cup of this mixture to use as a topping later.
Press the remaining crumb mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for 12 minutes.
Spread peaches on top of the baked crust
Cream together cream cheese, remaining egg, sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Spread cream cheese mixture over peaches.
Sprinkle the cup of crumbs set aside earlier over the top.
Bake for 30-34 minutes or until edges of top begin to lightly brown.
Allow to cool then refrigerate before serving.
