Sweet Southern Lovin had the opportunity to review the Sweet Slumber Pillow. When it first came in the mail I was very surprised by the weight. It is actually a very heavy pillow. It made me very wary that it wouldn’t be comfortable. It is also a very plump pillow and I was used to sleeping with a very flat pillow. Well I had the chance to test it out for a while due to an ice storm that hit our area, which kept me from doing this review sooner.
I have always dealt with stiff shoulders in the morning because I have to sleep with my arm up under the pillow. With the Reverie Sweet Slumber Pillow I have not woken up once with stiff shoulders. I’m being serious when I say that I LOVE this pillow. The inside is made up of shredded latex. The shredded latex gives it a plump feeling rather than just a flat squishy feeling of a foam pillow. It also forms very well to your head and neck without it going flat, unlike a foam pillow. You wouldn’t think it would feel soft because of the weight and the shredded latex, but it really does.
I have to say that I actually sleep better with the Reverie Sweet Slumber Pillow. I wake up less in the middle of the night to fluff my pillow, punch it back to its shape, or squish it for more fullness. I also love that it comes with the thick outer cover. Another big plus about the Sweet Slumber Pillow is that it is hypo-allergenic and dust mite resistant, especially since I have allergies. I am never going back to my old pillow. I have raved about it so much at home that my husband tried it out one night, let’s just say he didn’t want to give it back. If you are looking for a pillow that will conform to your head and neck as well as giving very comfortable support then you need a Reverie Sweet Slumber Pillow. They have the two sizes in the Sweet Slumber Pillow, queen and king. The queen price is $89.00 and the king is $99.00. You can find them here.
