I have been with Straight Talk for almost 4 years now. I love the freedom of not having a contract plan, all while still having a low monthly phone bill. When I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Straight Talk I couldn’t wait because I love sharing products with my readers that I personally use and love. I received one of their most popular phones, the Samsung Galaxy S4 plus one month of unlimited service. Let me tell you about the phone first.

Like I said, I have been with Straight Talk for almost 4 years so I have had my fair share of phones. My first phone was a flip phone, my second was a slider phone. my third was an Huawei Ascend Y. A few months ago I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Ace Style. I fell in love with the Galaxy/Android Interface on the phone. It still runs android, but offers fun apps and things that are only available on Galaxy models.

I did not know which phone I was receiving until I opened my package and was very excited when I opened it and it was the new Samsung Galaxy S4. There are so many awesome apps and settings on this phone that it took a whole day to explore them all. First, the S4 comes with Android 4.3, Jelly Bean. Being a blogger, I was very excited that this phone comes with a 13MP Camera with a 2MP Front Facing Camera. This is very important since I do a lot of pictures with my phone for Instagram and blog post. The S4 also features a 5″ Full HD Super AMOLED Screen. This makes watching Youtube videos or videos shared with you in full HD quality. I can’t wait to record videos on Christmas morning to share with family of the girls opening their presents. This phone is also one of the few from Straight Talk that has the new 4G LTE. I will be discussing this more when I talk about the service in a little bit.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 also offers tons of fun Galaxy apps. One of my favorites is the SHealth. This app makes losing weight and keeping track of your weight loss and how much you are eating a lot of fun. You can also find over 1,000,000 Apps on Google Play. The S4 also has Samsung Smart Switch, Samsung TecTiles Compatibility, Air View, Air Gestures, Group Play, and Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Technology. There is also so much more to be uncovered about this phone that not even I have discovered. It supports a microSD card (not included) but also has an internal memory of up to 16GB. The battery has a talk time of up to 17 hours, but I have been on it all day between checking on Facebook, browsing Pinterest and taking pictures and it has lasted me around 25 hours on just one charge.

Now let me discuss the service the phone receives. Straight Talk is one of the top service providers around. I have better service than my mother does, and she pays around $175 a month for her phone and I pay $45 a month. The unlimited service plan comes with unlimited talk, text and data for 30 days. Now this phone is one of the 4G LTE, which this means I receive 3GB of high speed data per 30 day cycle. After that I will notice a slight reduction in speed for the remainder of the 30 days. I HIGHLY suggest setting any phone to connect to Wi-Fi while you are at the house. That will greatly help the speed of your phone. I use Pandora and use an auxiliary jack in my truck to listen to it on the radio. You know how must songs would have to “buffer” or take a few minutes to start? Well with all of my Straight Talk phones I have noticed I never had that problem, it takes literally a second to load a song. Same with Youtube videos. Now videos that are longer than 45 minutes in length can take a few seconds to load, but nothing like some of the other cell phone service providers. As far as how much signal the service gives, I have NEVER had less than 3 bars wherever I go. We live in South Carolina and we have traveled to Tennessee and I still had perfect signal. We have traveled to North Carolina and down to Tybee Island in Georgia and I always have perfect signal with no roaming. I have to tell everyone how much I love Straight Talk service. I will never use another service provider again.

You can purchase your own Samsung Galaxy S4 for only $499 by visiting here. Make sure to visit their entire shop to see all of the phones they offer. Also, check out their other service plans to see how you can get service on Tablets, Hot Spots, Remote Alerts, and even Home Phones!
