Spread Cheer with Betty Crocker Sugar Cookies and Ziploc + a giveaway!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, well at least for me. Not only do I love giving gifts and spreading cheer at Christmas, but I also love to bake goodies to share with the ones I love. I am branching out this year and giving Aubreigh’s teachers at her school. Now, usually I will make the dough by hand but this year I went for a little help. I headed to my local Publix to pick up everything I needed.
Betty Crocker
My first stop was over to the baking aisle. They have every possible cookie you would like to make. I went with something I knew everyone would love and picked up a big thing of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix. I already have cookie cutters so I went to my next product on my list I was needing. I needed something to send these cookies in with Aubreigh. I could have done something fancy with cute little plastic bags or just plain ziploc bags but I wanted to use something that could be used over and over again. At Publix, they carry a wide range of plastic containers. I went straight to the Ziploc brand and picked up a festive one. I loved that they were festive, but not oozing Christmas so they could be used year round.

When I got home I went ahead and started doing the cookie mix and getting it ready. I was able to get 3 dozen round cookies made out of just one package of cookie mix. That was enough to give half a dozen to each teacher plus keep some at home. When it came time to package them up I let Aubreigh help me. I put some wax paper to line the bottom and then placed tons of cookies inside. I also included my recipe for my cookie, which was fairly simple, and a little note and they were all ready for gift giving.
