Staybridge Suites helped make this trip happen! Opinions are my own.
Whether you are taking your family on a trip with a purpose or just having a relaxed weekend away from the house to escape everyday life, Staybridge Suites has you covered. Their rooms offer a great place to stay, especially when you have little kids who like to stick to a schedule. So whether it is for a single night oar a few, you are sure to feel right at home.
I recently went to a nearby Staybridge Suites for a stay-cation with my little family. We went right across the river and stayed in Augusta, Georgia. We planned a one-day trip that included a ton of fun activities. Within minutes from our hotel were several restaurants: Monkey Joe’s, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Regal Cinemas and so much more. It was truly the perfect location that didn’t require a lot of time in the car.
We checked in around 2:00 p.m. As we unpacked, we realized we forgot to bring a razor with us. Thankfully, The Pantry, a 24-hour convenience store, was right beside the check-in desk, so it was no problem to pick one up. It also had a variety of quick fix meals, drinks, snacks and everyday necessities.
While we were headed back to the room we noticed the hotel’s “Just Like Home” theater, so if there’s a game on, you can watch it on the big screen. If that wasn’t enough, can you believe they also had a 24-hour fitness room with a ton of new equipment? There were a ton of flat screen televisions on the wall, which are perfect to watch while you’re running on the treadmill. Dirty clothes were no problem at all, since on the first floor there was a self-service laundry room to use free of charge (just bring your own detergent).
I loved our room. It was decked out just like a little home. The fully equipped kitchen had everything you could possibly need. A full-size refrigerator with an icemaker, microwave oven, cooktop stove, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher and all of the plates and utensils you could possibly need. The kitchen isn’t the same size as your average kitchen but it is a very good size for a hotel room, giving you enough space to store snacks, food to make for early mornings or late night snacks.
We also arrived to a very nice welcome gift that included coffee, popcorn, and tea. Staybridge Suites knows exactly how to make you feel at home!
The girls enjoyed sitting on the couch and chowing down on their popcorn while watching television, which, by the way, swivels so you can either watch it from the couch or while lying in the bed.
Now, even though we live right across the bridge, we rarely come over to Augusta, even though it’s home to many different attractions and things to do. There is literally something to do for everyone, which made this the perfect spot for our stay-cation.
When we went to the beach two weeks ago, we passed right through Savannah, Georgia and we also happened to pass right by the Staybridge Suites located there. WOW! It was amazing. The one in Augusta had already greatly impressed me, but the one in Savannah blew me away. I cannot wait to pass back through Savannah in September and spend the weekend at Staybridge Suites.
If you are passing through South Carolina or Georgia, or even one of their 200 locations nationwide, definitely stay at Staybridge Suites, where rooms are as low as $105 a night!
