Zeenie Dollz was founded by a mother and daughter team When Hansini showed her mother a sketch she did of a very pretty doll with long and flowing blue hair which was the persona of Mother Earth she knew her daughter created a huge hit. Hansini is the create and designer behind the faces on the dolls and her mother, Laxmi used her knowledge in the toy industry to bring the Zeenie Dollz to life. These dollz save the planet in style.
I had the opportunity to review a dollz from Zeenie Dollz. I was sent Lina. Lina is the Eco-Warrior Protector of the rain-forest. She comes in a very cute outfit (she comes with a hair bow, earrings, a jacket, shirt, skirt, capris, shoes and socks)and a little ocelot named Abby. She also comes with a bracelet for you and an eco-warrior membership card so you can join the team. She stands 12″ tall and comes with a stand so she can stand by herself. Each Zeenie Dollz is made out of recyclable plastics. Also a percentage of every sale goes to organizations working to preserve and protect all the places that they call home. I really love the Zeenie Dollz. Don’t get me wrong, we still love Barbie, but I love the fact that these Dollz serve an additional purpose about teaching kids about their home (Lina’s is the Rain forest). The dollz are very detailed and move better than most barbies do. I love that they come with a stand, my girls can play with her better in the stand and she doesn’t get lost in the bottom of the toy box. My girls loved their Lina Doll. Aubreigh wanted to learn all about where Lina lived and where the cub lived. The online site is set up to where I can take Aubreigh to Lina’s page and from there she can learn about the rain forest, ways to help the rain forest, Do The Jig (puzzle), and more.
Each Zeenie Dollz can be purchased for only $39.99 (with a percentage going to different organizations that preserve the earth in many ways) plus they are currently offering free shipping. There are 6 dolls available. There is also Evee (protector of the skies), Kazumi (protector of the Polar Regions), Zennia (Mother Earth, protector of the planet), Yana (protector of the ocean and all of its creatures) and Sini (protector of all animals). If you would like to learn more about these dolls and purchase your own, head on over here.
